The issue for me is not that I expect them to support people whether they want to or not.
They actively band discussion around support of alternative installation methods. Meaning even if someone wants to help you they are not allowed to.
Ironically they do have a section where you can ask for help on alternative methods, but it is exclusively for seeking out a contractor your willing to pay to do it. So seems they go out of their way do ensure free help of alternative methods doesnt get documented in public on their official systems.
