@ligthert
I shares it originally aeveral years ago. I think its real but not sure
@freemo :) The Ummm is for reading the Guardian in the first place I suppose (:
But, also the title yes.
Btw Freemo I've sent you a few DM's without reply and not fav'd (which you don't have to but also makes me think you might not have got message) - it could be you have something not quite right there, it's been a few messages recently [Mar 4, 14] on a few topics. Hope you're good in general and know you had a busy trip recently.
@freeschool
I saw, was busy with passover celebrations, ill circle back soon today or tomorrow.
@freemo This feels like a fake. If the author wanted to make the case for fair wages for McDonalds empolyees or even abolishment of wage labour, he could have used any other profession than heart surgeon as a better example. "Why should a McDonalds boss earn more than an employee?". Further, it is phrased like they want the surgeon to earn less, not the worker to earn more. Could have said "A McDonalds employee should earn as much as their boss"
The McDonalds employee is helping to keep the heart surgeon employed.
So, is that pic of the person in the article the McD worker or the doc?
@lucifargundam @Pat @freemo
Q. : What's the similarity between a surgeon and a stone layer?
A. : They both cover their mistakes with dirt.
@realcaseyrollins I think it might have been a spoof, I dont recall now.
@freemo
Is this one of those headlines generated by that Guardian Headline generator?
