Grrr! I hate #plannedObsolescence. A few years ago I bought a @ChiliSleep Ooler to keep the bed cool so I could sleep and it was amazing, but shortly after the warranty expired it started buzzing loudly and is keeping my wife and me awake. I contacted support and they said there was no option for repair and the only option was to completely replace it. They gave me a $200 off coupon, but does that mean I’m just expected to send them $800 every two years so that I can sleep?

Whew! My #wip uses a Raspberry Pi #picoW, but for the life of me I couldn't get it to serve http to a browser. I tried connecting it to an old router and it worked there, but don't want to keep using it. I finally decided I'd try the router's primary network (not the guest network) and it worked as expected. Ha! That'll show me... trying to give restricted network access to a device I don't want to be exploited!
At least there's no way to access it if you don't have access to the LAN (which in my case is important).

I can't stand how buggy Fusion 360 is on an M1 mac. Anyone know of something that works better (ideally with a free tier) that supports joints, etc. I loved Shapr3d because it's very easy to use on iPad, but it's limited to only modeling and I want more than that. #maker #cad #diy

Yo @Raspberry_Pi@raspberrypi.social I've been searching a while with no results. How are you supposed to change the SSID/password on the pico if you don't have access to the code? For example, if I make a pico based product and sell it, I can't just expect users to use the precoded WiFi details. 🤷‍♂️ #raspberryPiPico #WIP
