I see this a lot from Tesla stans, who probably don't appreciate the way Musk is further enshittifying the industry, and not just through snake-oil over promising (which they already did). He's cut manufacturing costs by making cars that are less repairable and more likely to be total write-offs in accidents. There's no good corporate reason for legacy automakers *not* to follow suite (1/2) https://pluralistic.net/2023/02/24/passive-income/#swiss-cheese-security

We wrote a blog post about our on-going nightmare: ChatGPT recommends us for a service we don't provide.
Dozens of people are signing up to our site every day and then getting frustrated when "it doesn't work". Hugely frustrating.

Please do NOT trust the nonsense ChatGPT spits out.
Example eleventy-twelve of why knowing how the stuff in your life works is worth it:
My new home has an evaporative humidifier in the HVAC system. It has its own humidistat but only runs in a heat call.
Because this home is built to recent codes, the heat only runs for between 1 to 2 hours on mild days - meaning the humidifier just isn't doing much! Often I can barely get to 40% RH if I'm lucky.
So... I moved the humidifier's wire from the R terminal to the G terminal!
Was looking for other #cycling peeps on here but more urban, utility cyclists instead of people who do crazy miles on bikes that weight less that my pannier 😂
I #cycle *a lot* but to the shops, the allotment, pub etc. I don't think I've leisure cycled for years.
Hoping to share experiences of urban cycling (the good, the bad and the ugly) with others like I have been on twitter.

Love this song. Easily my favorite on the album. (The whole album is also great though.)

Hello, hi.
I picked up a whole ton of new humans today so I'm making a post to help you acclimate.
✨ I own a portable planetarium and I take it to the smallest towns and weirdest places I can to reach people who would/could never visit a planetarium and show them the universe.
🧠When not doing that,I visit schools and daycares and do hands on STEM enrichment to foster creative problem solving and critical thinking.
When not doing that, I am obnoxious... on purpose.

Yet I cannot escape IT departments insisting upon it. Every time it happens I want to send them a "cybersecurity training module" right back at them.
