I keep hearing the reasoning that Kyle is guilty because he inserted himself into a dangerous situation and thus he was asking for trouble...

What really gets me about this excuse is you are essentially admitting that the protesters that night were extremely dangerous. Since when is it a defense to say "Yea the kid was almost killed by an angry mob, but it was his own fault for walking into a bad neighborhood".

FFS you are kinda admiting he had every right to be scared for his life and to shoot in the first place.

This is the same horrible logic people use when they say rape victims deserved to be raped because they were "asking for it" by wearing low cut shirts.... no thats not how this works, that not how any of this works.

Funny how all of my arguments were "hey this is what literally happened in the video that is obviously true"... your whole argument is "hey native american dude who has never voted conservative in your life, you're white and conservative so you're wrong"

@Tlalocelotl Not true.. he went to another state to help protect people and provide first aid. which he demonstrated by the fact that until he was assaulted by a mob he administered first aid to several people (including other protestors) and engaged in cleaning up graffitti.

So he went to another state to try to help people, provide aide, and provide protection. Which he did. He only killed someone who was trying to assault/kill him first and even went out of his way to avoid shooting back except as a last resort effort once he was cornered. Video tape clearly shows him making every effort to first run and scream "friendly friendly friendly" as the person chasing him were trying to knock him out by throwing things at him. He finally only shoots when the guy finally gets within arms reach to assault him physically.

How anyone can see the video and not see it as a very clear case of self defense and shooting only as a last resort is absolutely beyond me.

Every time I get drunk I start using racial slurs. Just yesterday I was talking about how all the Athrican people were really kind and how Meshicans were hard workers.

Trying to please everyone and being nice to everyone, I find, is the easiest way to guarantee you are surrounded by the worst sort of people imaginable. I mean sure, they will like, or at least tolerate, you. But you will have to deal with their constant drama and demands.

Now not giving a fuck and telling people they have dumbass ideas and flipping them off when they start drama, thats a sure way to guarantee you're surrounded by cool people who wont fly off the handle at every bit of nonsense.

Start living a life worth living, embrace your inner asshole.
