I dont mind even mind products. I just hate the emotional manipulation. They use such stupid tricks like attaching your identity to the product in order to manipulate you into buying.

Sounds like he just hadn't thought of taking the class like we would an English class. He had probably categorized it as a Foreign Language class and was confused why someone would take a foreign language class of their own language.

That's just the domain that's been taken down. The phrasing that the server hosting the content is still up. It will be trivial for them to make it available again.

My guess is that it would fall under what is called Fair Use since it is transformative. I don't really know though, it may be a legal gray area.
