@Jdogg247 he's smoked weed publicly. He just moved to Texas. He sold a flamethrower. He may be big tech, but I don't think they're all exactly the same.

@omanreagan doing that would trigger war. Now is the time to unite and work together, not fight.

@reedhhw but they aren't waving accountability. They're kicking a hornet's nests by deplatforming most of his supporters.

Wow, the price of the privacy-focused cryptocurrency monero is through the roof.

@tsn_says they aren't fully effective, they only help. That's why you still need to socially distance and do the other things when wearing the mask.

@mattmadness @TiffyBelle@mastodon.online make a good faith effort to find a compromise. I think voter ID laws, removal of hackable voting machines, and hand counts of votes going forward would do a lot. Pledging to investigate the election would do a lot, even if they still find that Biden won.

Recognizing that their anxieties are real and working to fix the issues that make those anxieties possible is the only way to stop this in the long term. If we don't, then the power vacuum will always be there, and someone will eventually take advantage of it to accrue and leverage power.

@Defectivetrxgedy you said "Stop forcing genders at babies," that's telling me how I should treat my family, which is rude. I could just as easily say "stop facilitating mental illness by spreading such ideas like gender is a purely social construct," but telling you how to live is rude.

@Defectivetrxgedy I'll live my life like I want, you should live yours how you want.

@chris my experience is in the Midwest region heavily affected by outsourcing. Not everyone is in a wealthy region, but those are overrepresented in politics and media.

@chris anecdotally, the labor market was tight and wages were actually rising in my region for the first time in my life.

Good things can happen to/with bad people and vice versa.

@zillion very high doses for a long time can cause kidney damage and other issues. Most people are deficient, but it doesn't hurt to ask a nurse or medical provider if you are taking a lot.
