I have added an addition section to the end of my article
# Eugen Rochko, CEO of Mastodon, Found to Support Nazi’s Agenda
It is four points listening the consequences of Eugen's decision.

@DrPrestonGreen I hope so. I do think that "the arc of history bends towards justice", and that progress in my adult lifespan has been made. On the other hand, looking back at where I thought we were headed when I graduated from high school, I'm not so sure this generation won't have many of its aspirations thwarted as well. We were wrong to think back then that we shouldn't trust anyone over 30, and it would be wrong to think that the younger people now will step up and rescue use. We need to recognize the need for a multi-generational approach.
@Elephantidae @freemo But isn't this the way that the Nazi's dominated in Germany historically? It wasn't "really" that most petty government officials saw themselves as doing terrible things. But by collective small actions and inaction they did serve the Nazi's goals. So effectively they were part of the Nazi machine. The danger they posed to others was that of real live Nazis.
Now, the fascists see the demolition of Twitter as a forum as a step forward for them. Thwarting Mastodon would be a next step. Not actively standing up to that would be a huge mistake.
@Elephantidae @freemo I am an example of someone who recently found Qoto from the join site. I think that the issue seems to speak to a serious question as to whether or not Mastodon is a decentralized federation or if from a practical standpoint, it has access determined by one person. And of course, I joined this instance because I felt it best met my interests, but also so I could interact with others in different instances.
Succumbing to the strategy of an attack by nefarious agents doesn't make Mastodon a safe or a welcoming place. All instances ought to see that as a vulnerability that needs to be combated.
Sp I wrote a pretty lengthy blog post entitled:
# Eugen Rochko, CEO of Mastodon, Found to Support Nazi's Agenda
Sadly I wish it was clickbait.
You can all read it here:

It is the pinnacle of the recent drama. I will also be sharing it on twitter, linking the joinmastodon account there. I tried to include most of the evidence in the article. Hopefully this will have some positive result
@lucifargundam Do you not have an oven? Otherwise unsure why you are torturing your bread dough in this manner.
@DrPrestonGreen I think that it was my "boomer" generation ended civics education by the insistence of us students to teachers that the civics course ought to go beyond basics like the 3 parts of government and needed to cover things like what the Constitution actually ought to mean, regarding civil rights, women's rights and other issues. Schools found us disruptive, we found them to be irrelevant. Easy solution was to eliminate the class. Fast forward and the same issues in education remain. We ought to teach civics like we ought to teach history or science. But powerful forces don't actually want those subjects to be taught in a deep, meaningful and accurate way.
@AdamStuartSmith This looks great! I'm ordering a copy. However, my two children's book experts are both under the age of two, and so it will be a while until they can provide a through verbal review.
This is very near to UC Santa Cruz, so I would assume that there is someone who has studied this redwood grove. My non-expert opinion is that the amount of undergrowth, obscuring the trunk for purposes here, is probably an unhealthy thing ecologically, fuel for future fires.
There's A LOT of discussion about content moderation right now and very little of it touches on the fact that we've all lived on the big social sites for the last decade-plus thanks to the massively exploitated labor of mostly-invisible moderation workers. The social web at scale wouldn't have happened without these laborers, who in addition to shit wages, have been exposed to literally every imaginable horror.
If we're remaking this world, let's do better on that front.
Doing an interview with the BBC to promote my upcoming musical “Allegiance” in London.
This is my legacy project, the work I am most proud of and am most eager to share with UK audiences. It tells the story of our community, when 120,000 Japanese Americans were put into barbed wire prison camps during WWII because we resembled the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.
Allegiance is a celebration of the human spirit over adversity. #NeverForget

"Piles of compost containing dead chicken parts are expected to be removed soon after the mayor of David City and nearby residents complained that the compost was within the wellhead protection area for the town’s water supply.
But while state officials said the composting operation followed applicable rules...
At least 94 barns holding more than 47,000 chickens each are located within a few miles west of David City"
Less than ideal to pollute your own source of drinking water...
The week before Thanksgiving Twitter fires 4K workers, Amazon fires 10K workers, Facebook fires 11K workers, and Disney plans thousands of layoffs—all while US Billionaire pandemic wealth increased an absurd $1.7T.😳
A reminder that billionaires don’t create jobs—they exploit workers.
Tax billionaires. Unionize workers.
