@bonifartius I had/have a neighbor who had a tree farm, he specialized in grafting black walnuts, a variety that could be cracked by hand instead of needing a bulldozer. The way it was done is probably 10s of thousands of years old, and just neat to see done.

I went for full size rather than dwarf trees, because shade. The birds can get the fruit I can't reach, and that's OK with me.

@bonifartius I did pears and a cherry a couple years ago, and it is so nice to have the shade. Trees are a gift from one generation to the next.

@otso @freemo I have been to the Caribbean, and Finland. I will say, going from the sauna that is just to hot to breathe in anymore, running across the snow and into the icy water.... It's kinda like a full body orgasm.

@otso @freemo , I think you have stated the root cause of WHY Americans are obsessed with nudity. the Europeans why took over what became the USA were religious zealots. Not exactly the best Europe had to offer.

Reading these attempts to define pornography over the last decades, I am trying to present the idea that simplification is the answer. No victim, no crime is my attempt to do this, and offered up for consideration only.

At the same time, I don't wish to see any site I am on flooded by images that drive others away, or become the noise that hides value from users.

But, rest assured, I appreciate your efforts, and the efforts of the others I just read, no matter what the eventual outcome will be.

@freemo , very good discussions. I would like to see how they develop, and if the same solutions are applied to topics such as nudity and war depictions.

My personal philosophy is "no victim, no crime, no exceptions." And to be a victim, you have to show quantifiable harm. Seeing a nipple just doesn't cut it. Seeing soldiers killed can.
