I really don't understand this. Is it because I'm not on the flagship instance?
I've seen, like, three nazis in more than a year of being on the fediverse and I blocked their *entire server* and then never saw any ever again.
The power of Mastodon's server banhammer, mixed with the good-natured volunteer work of our admins and moderators means that's not a problem here.
But why is it failing for others? I don't want to be on a whites-only social media. How do we make this space more inclusive to people of color when we can't even see the problems they describe?

You know one thing that #ChatGPT is going to be *huge* for?
Background dialog in video games.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to write dialog for guards and civilians in open world games? If you've ever taken an arrow to the knee, then you might have some sense of it.
But #AI can blow that out of the water, generating dozens of dialogue variations that say the same thing (or nothing at all) just a little bit differently for each voice actor, adding easy variety to a notoriously tedious and shitty writing job in #GameDev.
Of course, eventually it'll probably replace the voice actors too, which is far less ideal.
Is there some kind of IBS lobby that worked to get every sitcom in the 2000s to mention it, or did they all just simultaneously think poop jokes were funny and copy each other?
