I'm having a love/hate relationship with Mars First Logistics. It's a game where you custom-build rovers on Mars to carry strangely-shaped objects from one location to another.

It's bizarrely difficult and casual at the same time. You really have to think about your builds (a la KSP), but there are no time limits and you can always reset, so the stakes for failure are very low.

It's a game that alternates between making me feel very dumb and very smart.

Couldn't this be rewritten as "IDF admits it committed war crimes"?

Incredibly telling that being accused of rape and openly describing sexual harassment isn't a scandal in #Republican world, but the idea that someone might wear lifts in his shoes is a giant scandal.

I am so fucking tired of hearing about how an actual war/genocide on the other side of the planet is affecting the feelings of university students in America.

According to CNN, #SBF was found guilty yesterday. But won't be sentenced for another 5 months.

Can someone from #LawFedi explain that delay? It seems like an excessive amount of time to me.

Watching The Sopranos, it's remarkable how much more I like Carmella than Skyler from Breaking Bad.

Both are the wives of big bad criminals who keep them in the dark. Both are strong women who struggle with what the father of their children does for a living.

I think the reason I like Carmella more is that she's a woman of action and determination and she doesn't fuck around, whereas Skyler was more of a mopey woman of complaining. But it could simply be the actresses' performances or any other of a million things, not sure...

I don't wake up early often, but when I do, I see all you morning people on Mastodon, all bright and chipper, and it just makes me want to go back to bed all the more.

Do recycling centers have to be super careful about finding pennies so they don't violate that law against melting them down accidentally?

Yup, fuck it. Just cancelled my Max and Netflix subscriptions. Streaming companies ruined the streaming industry, and I no longer want to be annoyed by them.

I'm going back to DVDs.

Finally got in, an hour after my appointment time. Now they say I need two tests, but they don't know how much it'll cost me. 🤦‍♂️

They just made me sign three contracts... before they'd let me read them.

They made another old man wait an hour and a half just to figure out that his appointment was in another location. This place is like a masterclass on how not to run a doctor's office.

They made a lady wait over an hour, called her up, and then made her sit back down when they just then realized she doesn't speak English.

Must be nice being a doctor. Even if you're complete shit at your job and can't run an office to save your life, you'll still be booked up with customers no matter what.
