Hey radio and free-speech enthusiasts! Does anyone know anything about this? https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/06/voice-america-will-sound-like-trump/613321/
I'll admit, I never considered that we ran this kind of foreign-targeted news organization. I should have. But this is all new to me.
Question: I run Debian, and have had issues for a long time with my web browsers. I'm currently using Chromium and Firefox, but they tend to crash, and occasionally have trouble running things like video. They're better than they used to be in the Flash days, but still not great. Does anyone have a browser that works better, or a good browser fix?
Basically, it's not the PIC chips are harder to use than Arduinos. There are eight-bit PIC chips that are quite comparable to the small Arduino units. Unfortunately, that doesn't look like it's what you'll be using. These 32-bit chips look a bit like my old Motorolla. Lots of peripherals, lots of instructions.

Regarding Spongebob Squarepants being declared gay: Per Wikipedia, "Most sponges are hermaphrodites (function as both sexes simultaneously), although sponges have no gonads (reproductive organs)." I don't think you can be homosexual if you are a hermaphrodite....unless mating with another hermaphrodite counts, in which case all hermaphroditic sponges are gay.
Alright you Rust-pusher @lupyuen , I downloaded the toolchain. So far, Rust kinda looks like C...

You as a developer need to test and improve your applications support for assistive technologies. The simplest way to do this is to install Orca or NVDA and use your application as normal with a keyboard. If you want advice on this, please direct message me to ask me questions about improving your applications.
Clarke's Three laws (#2 is my favorite):
1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
Does anyone else need to restart their coding projects from scratch several times, when trying to work out something new? My harddrive is littered with with the husks of failed attempts...
#coding
Heya. I'm a child of the 80's, engineer, nerd, and frustrated optimist. While well-versed in many of the geeky arcana of topics, I am particularly involved in coding, anime, and JRPGs. Outside of that, I garden on and off, sew, and am actively involved in a long campaign to force myself to get some exercise. I look forward to meeting some new folks and maybe working on some interested projects.
