@Pat @freemo I've never eaten a fiddlehead, but now taking a look at the reports of issues, I think I'll keep that off my bucket list of foods to try. The risk to potential for deliciousness ratio does not seem favorable.

@freemo @Pat 😂 That checks out with my experiences as well! I sometimes marvel I have managed to survive this long in spite of being responsible for feeding myself.

@freemo @Pat So many almonds!!! On a similar note of dangerous amounts of healthy foods, I made the mistake of throwing a bunch of dried kombu/kelp into a soup (not properly preparing it - who knew there were rules?) and then had symptoms of mild iodine toxicity. I didn't even realize that was a risk until I started reading up on it later:
