Here’s what I’ve noticed lately: More and more people are saying “we need to learn to live with the virus” and what they actually mean is “we no longer intend to live as if the virus were a present reality, and we’re fine if somebody else needs to learn to live—or die—with that decision.”
After reading Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony, it's hard not to conclude that Mark Meadows is in deep legal doodoo. I know that's not a legal term, but it's apt.
The question is, with so much exposure, will Meadows flip on Trump? Perhaps he has already. We haven't heard much from him at all for some time now.
Low temps again. Talks of “are winter extremes getting colder with global warming?”
Time to pull out ye olde XKCD explainer.
I believe this is called creeping normality or landscape amnesia - when you either forget or are to young to remember the old “normal”.
The best I see is house arrest at Mar-a-Largo. And even then he WILL NOT SHUT UP. But if he loses face among Evangelicals, we may avert civil disruption.

At this time your work is the hook where I'm hanging my hat on how to help my grandkids. I don't have them plugged in at the moment, but the fact you and AutCraft exist means a great deal to me right now. Thank you.
But math is hard!
And that's pretty much my take on it.
After a weekend that included a brief ban on external links and a poll asking if he should step down as CEO, some Twitter users who initially welcomed Elon Musk are now skeptical of remaining on the platform. https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/twitter-users-reach-breaking-point-elon-musk-rcna62403
David Orentlicher: "Prosecuting Trump is necessary, but it isn’t sufficient to preserve our democracy. The forces that Trump marshaled and unleashed preceded him, and they will outlast him if we don’t take steps to subdue them. That is where Congress can be most effective, and uphold the rule of law as it tries to ensure that Trump is held accountable under the rule of law." https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/house-jan-6-committee-refers-trump-justice-department-mistake-rcna62375
The very first meme I made on Mastodon and if I do say so myself, it’s aged pretty well. #elonmusk #twittermigration #twitter

For anyone wondering, I'm still unable to access Twitter until I delete this tweet, which is factual journalism that doesn't even break the location rule Twitter enacted a few days ago. The account isn't marked as suspended anymore, but I can't use it or see tweets from people I follow. Using Mastodon exclusively for now and actually really enjoying it.
