I look deeply into my wife’s eyes. A single tear rolls down my cheek. I whisper to her “it’s time.”
“It’s okay,” she whispers back. “I’m here, it’s okay.”
I turn to the waitress of the Mexican restaurant. “I’ll have the cheeseburger.” The waitresses eyes go black. The mariachi music stops. A margarita on the table behind me bursts into flames.

I like when your cat just purrs. Like, you’re not petting, not snuggling, they just sit by you and purr because they know you need it sometimes. :)
