I've been wondering what the antitrust issue EU regulators have with Amazon buying the company behind the Roomba. It's not like iRobot and Amazon will merge their robot vacuum businesses (Amazon doesn't have one) to create a monopoly.
It turns out the issue is that they think Amazon will always show Roombas over competing products in Amazon search. This is an interesting concern and proposed remedy.
Imagine if the EU had done this when Google bought YouTube? 😖
@freemo I’m slow but I have been seeing this reference a few many times . Is this a thing ? Lol!
This week, the world’s human #population is expected to reach 8B. About 109B people have lived and died. Each grain of sand represents 10M.

@ChemBob I totally get it . Everyone is still looking around to find their corners of the app. Not the most intuitive but pretty decent so far
@minimammoth 😂😂😂 you are trying to convince yourself that you must “conquer”. You can read a summary or wiki of it to know the ending but the teenager in you from decades ago won’t let go . Toxic relationship with book 🤣
@garyackerman Absolutely. Employees align with bosses because of management style. Change in leadership team will always bring some mis/alignments and shake ups.
It’s the same with sport players and coaches
@worldsendless sending you good vibes
@minimammoth lol! I found this to be egoistic . A friend’s mum once said “reading a dull book is like eating bad cake, the purpose is defeated- pleasure! “
@trinsec thank you so much . This works
@Ed_Rial good joke with the file save name. Ok that makes sense.
Sustainable seems to have been used a whole by earth friendly people that I’m not seeing the peripheral 😃
@Ed_Rial sustainable software is the last thing I would ever think I’ll see. Is that a thing ?
@kreyren it’s 2022 . If Trump owes you money, it’s your fault
