Wondering which Mastodon app is the best? Some folks may not even know there are different apps for #Mastodon when coming over from #TwitterMigration #TwitterEDUMigration. So hope this chart (which is a teaser from a blog entry later this season, sitting in queue waiting for scheduled publication) may be helpful. I know there are more apps, these are five I’ve worked with. My personal favs are Toot! and Tusky after long association (what, a month? 🤣 )

I am now compiling a list of all servers who may have an interest in joining the United Federation of Instances.

Quite a few instances have already signed up.

Please reach out to me, all servers of any size are welcome!

This is non binding, its just to get a preliminary list. You can withdrawl at any time and dont have to go through the application process. I just want to know what servers to reach out to once we begin kicking things off.

If you are a server admin please let me know **in DM** if you have an interest and I will add you to the (for now) private list. I want to only release the list once we have enough momentum so please respond in DM only.

honestly the reason I am leaving twitter (as it is a process that's my finished yet) isn't that Elon took over, or that it has started openly catering to nazis rather than covering that fact with fig leaves...

it's that finally a critical mass of people with sufficiently diverse backgrounds was moving to a place I like better.

Non so se ne ho già scritto a riguardo, però il gruppo di Andrea Rapisarda di Catania ha vinto per la seconda volta il premio igNobel con una dimostrazione matematica che le persone di successo non sono le più capaci ma le più fortunate.
Il primo premio invece lo vinsero dimostrando che le aziende sarebbero più efficienti promuovendo persone a caso.
