I love the randomness of the #federated #timeline. It’s the pure #chronologicaltimeline I’ve always wanted from a social media tool. Right now it’s just a #worldwide #celebration of #christmas shared between total strangers. No #celebrities, no #influencers, just #people.
@boiglenoight ... or skips apps entirely and just go to your server in the mobile web browser; that seems to be better than the official app most of the time.

Hm! I think (although I can't prove it currently) that if I click on a reply, and my server has a copy of the thing it's replying to locally (for whatever reason) it shows it to me. But maybe I'm assuming beyond the evidence. :)

Today I present you the MAGESTIC Taiwan Blue Magpie!
While beautiful, they are not afraid of people and they have strong nest defense behavior. According to locals, it is not uncommon for them to swoop down onto humans from trees and peck their heads!

I've always wondered about the theory behind that song.
He gave her her heart last year, and she gave it to someone else, but this year he apparently has it back!
Did he have to find that third person and talk them into returning it? Did he pay them for it? Were they surprised that she had given them someone else's heart in the first place?
Or did he grow a new one during the year, maybe? Or maybe someone else gave him their heart, and he considers it his own now, roughly the same way she did last year?
So many questions!
