@freemo that is an astronomical cost. and I wouldn't expect you to cover out of pocket.

Reduce something, connections, keep performance better at same or lower costs.

Heck, test drive Pleroma and if we can convert the database it would be a great option.

Yes, indeed. Mastodon is pre-historic, as the chosen name says. Move on with the times, there are better alternatives.

I think I will certainly move my blog work elsewhere, currently thinking about the better place to do it.

Same post as above, lightly touched with #MarkDown goodness. At a GlitchSocial instance, not a mastodon one which is still stuck in 500 character toot limit and other quirks of the project leaders preference.

It is an Option, and currently only people in leading edge Fedi can see this natively. A major flag and issue for me, as you might notice? #writers love #clarity and this helps. #focus , #design, better #UI and #UX is on these other projects -- GS and Pleroma at the moment, that I know off.

There might be others; Friendica is intriguingly RICH in features, text formatting there is a non-issue. As is Editing a post. Not for ex-twitter people, apparently.

@freemo I did not vet the list instances, but liked the idea of having ANOTHER place for people to find interesting ones.
