Looking for a blog space, so I can collate and have a permanent home for my tests, reports, ideas, etc.

Write.as is a blog platform for Writers, part of the Fediverse and can easily connect to other instances running Mastodon or Pleroma.

This video demonstrates how well that works. Quite cool - it's sad how many times we see well written blog posts without any feedback or comments, since people don't want to register to comment.

Here, people can see your new pages, and read and comment from their own instances. Thumbs up. Well done.

@maison_faim I read somewhere that 'toot' word was selected after being proposed by an early financial supporter of Mastodon development.

Not a bad one, as it relates to the beast itself.

@maison_faim in the About this instance page. Basic theme here is STEM, Science, Tech, Engineering and Math.

But no one is being told to shut up for general posting, so... No worries.

We had a discussion going about the many incoming new users, the instance has grown about 1,000 accounts in a month or so. But there were no conclusions or a policy developed yet, so it's status quo for now.

Dr Freeman is quite a nice fellow, he should be around soon and probably will say hello.
