I think the site looks nicer on that than the Light colour one. Gargron uses the Dark Theme as default at m.social too. 🙂

I was surprised by the level of discussion generated in that Git page, by people pro and against this feature. GlitchSocial already has it and I don't see any problems with it, it also seems to work well at Renato's instance, which is primarily in a foreign language and I see people using it.

That's not the case in other places, and here at Qoto.org, it's always open to new members. No invite needed, if she wants to join here, just open the webpage, and select register an account.

Regarding the character limit, All the info I have seen so far seems to be that it needs to be manually edited. Every time an update or new release comes out. Because Gargron likes the 500 chars and wants to make it harder to change it.
