NEW pages coming soon to this Fediverse Reporter blog.
Watch for an announcement. I will be using my new Kawen.space account excusively for it, as I am tired of my account here not reaching places due to fediblocks and shitty politics.
I am beyond that, and a free thinking author and publisher. As such, I had been reflecting and thinking about the impact of those facts of life on my personal content.
Of we go, new seas to be explored.
"Navegar é Preciso, viver não é Preciso." -- Fernando Pessoa.
----------
e a (minha alma) a lenha desse fogo.
Só quero torná-la de toda a humanidade;
Fernando Pessoa.

English Translation :
Ancient navigators had a glorious phrase:
"Navigating is needed; living is not necessary".
I want for myself the spirit of this sentence,
transformed the way to marry her as I am:
Living is not necessary; what is needed is to create.
I don't count on enjoying my life; i don't even think about it.
I just want to make it big,
even if for that it has to be my body
and (my soul) the firewood of this fire.
I just want to make it all humanity;
even if i have to lose it as mine.
More and more like this I think.
I increasingly put the anymic essence of my blood
the impersonal purpose of magnifying the homeland and contributing
for the evolution of humanity.
It is the way in which the mysticism of our Race has taken in me.
Fernando Pessoa, Portuguese Poet extraordinaire.
Thanks -- I liked it too. They don't list the MastodonFE on the PleromaFE page, but I remember it was the server URL, followed by /web/ -- an easy to remember address.
Plus, bookmark. :P
Adding to my Pinafore Instances list, now 11 or so total.
@rgx @rgx @design_RG Now THAT'S cool.
My personal Blog announcements soon moving to a new account and home.
Tired of Blocking and people not seeing posts, due to them.

Plus -- #MarkDown formatting is supported at my new Pleroma account.
This looks nice...

A number of Pleroma instances are perceived as a bit 'Shaddy' and that can be a problem.
Looking at the Pleroma instances list and this one seems a nice one. Visiting soon.
@rgx is up and running. Thank you.

"Pleroma is built on a lot less technology than Mastodon. To run a Mastodon instance, you need Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, NodeJS and - if you want search - ElasticSearch. For Pleroma, you only need Elixir and PostgreSQL, while still getting all the features. This simplifies installation and makes maintenance somewhat easier."
"To report trouble, contact href+pleroma.site AT random.sh. Please allow 24 hours for turnaround. Hardware Information. This instance is currently hosted on a Intel Xeon E3-1240 v6 @ 3.70GHz with 64Gb of RAM, 386Gb SSD zfs mirror. The OS is FreeBSD and the instance lives in its own jail." ---nice server. ;)
@Phaedrus I love Cory's work and books.
And he is generous and offers free eBook copies to some of his novels. Here's the page for this one :
@freemo that is an astronomical cost. and I wouldn't expect you to cover out of pocket.
Reduce something, connections, keep performance better at same or lower costs.
Heck, test drive Pleroma and if we can convert the database it would be a great option.
Yes, indeed. Mastodon is pre-historic, as the chosen name says. Move on with the times, there are better alternatives.
And a snippet from a DM reply for backgrounder.

There is so much History there that I have no idea.
I think I will certainly move my blog work elsewhere, currently thinking about the better place to do it.
@freemo Thank you.
I might use that as material for an upcoming Fediverse reporting Blog post -- where I am solely responsible for my content, stated opinions and format used.
And have tools for better content presentation.
Had ideas for some topics before, it might come time to write them.
> It really isnt like Rob to be so reckless and supporting people and sites that are explicitly exploiting and harming others like that.
Yes, of course, I don't see what you are referring to, of course, other than them having an extensive and well explained block list.
Which includes this site, unfortunately.
I am moving my personal Blog announcements to different places for that very reason.
Regarding the instances site mentioned, you are welcome to explain and make any points you like, as is Oxie too. I meant no disrespect and am listening. Thank you.
