Ok, here's a third #introduction because I'm about to follow some people who will otherwise have no idea why.
I have a PhD in #AppliedMath. My research was in mathematical models of infectious disease transmission. It's been a weird couple of years with everyone knowing something about my research just as I was settling into a non #academic job.
My current employer calls me an #economist, but mostly I do a lot of #statistics.
@Miweintraub83 yeah the web version for me is a constantly updating front page for the federated view. It’s pretty intense.

Interesting paper looking at the effect of the soleus on whole body metabolism. It suggests all muscles do not have equal effects on body metabolism relative to muscle mass. I normally put my Twitter @ on my posters at conferences so I can connect with people I meet, or if someone wants to get in touch about my poster later they have an easy, relatively informal way to do so instead of email.
