For #new peeps, one great thing you can do is follow instance/server admins, hosts and moderators. It will give you a feel of how they run these things.
You won’t get that experience in any other social media right now. There is an actual human being behind the scenes. And a lot of them are cool, friendly, supportive and funny 😊

So I unplugged the M2 MacBook Air while running Xonotic windowed at 1920x1080 in a GNOME desktop at 60FPS...

Of course I spent two hours templating an SVG so that it can compute dice rolls on the fly, why do you ask?
Regarding the rest, you can definitely do morphing and animation with the geo nodes

not sure about skin weights particularly, for that you might want to use [Sverchok](https://github.com/nortikin/sverchok) instead @BenHouston3D 
It is more technically oriented and requires math, but you might probably do that with it!
When and if you feel ready for the big next step, Erindale from CanopyGames published an excellent advanced #geometryNodes course, have not completed it yet, mind blowing up to now @BenHouston3D !

You can also learn a lot just by watching Erindale build ENTIRE SCENES with the nodes! 
Although, He says that most of the time is just faster to just create the geometry without nodes XD

I've asked for advice regarding setting up Blender Mastodon. Conclusion: not now, we don't have manpower for it, and our focus should be on supporting making Blender itself.
