This is a core node with an index, not sure if I should use it or link nodes differently.. but comes handy and can always disable it with filters

Since mid October 2023, noticing I was starting to have more and more #wristPain, which were lasting days instead of hours... I opted to give those fancy #ergonomic #splitKeyboards a chance, and after several research hours, I opted for the #ZSA #Moonlander, there were alternatives, but too far from what I was used to, was unsure and this was my final choice. (also found a good local used deal)

Since I was changing keyboard, why not use also a more ergonomic layout? So, I opted for a #shockTherapy and went with #Dvorak and used this combination ever since! My first days were quite.... a going back to when I was 7 years old, sub 10 wpm XD but after a couple of weeks, typing was not as humiliating as before and my speeds increased :)

From time to time, I recorded my progress on #Monkeytype and these at the bottom are 4 months of data, from a classical full size #qwerty at 110ish wpm to currently 60ish, with a constant increase week after week. I am not in a hurry, as my wrist pain vanished, and that was the final goal.. So I'm okay with half the speed and -95%ish pains :)

Hope this might prove useful to someone that is also considering this #journey or have this kind of #pain ^^

I found that the Kailh Box Brown switches were a little bit too #noisy and hard for my #tastes, so I've opted for the Cherry MX #Silent Red instead.

Needed to compress a directory, and noticed that my script was lacking the ability to perform that action… so I’ve added a directory check to the xz9 compress script 💫
It should work, if you encounter problems, let me know ^^
It creates an .xz in case of file and .tar.xz in case of directory 📦

V2 of the holder for the Solar Powered Fountain
Since on the bottom part of the #fountain there are 3 suction cups, I thought of a design more dynamic and that would use less printing material.

This evening, I've been having #fun exploring #decentraland !
I've seen @eibriel posting about It a lot, so I decided to take a look too!

I like It there! I find it to be a mix between #SecondLife and #VRChat!
Unfortunately, I've not been able to interact a lot with people, just a quick hey with a person that warned me that my mic was not working, so I fixed it but they went away in no time

I've used the #webBrowser Brave to explore the land and had little to no problems on #Linux.

I suggest to everyone to have a look! It's inspiring! A bit empty.... but #inspiring!

I have also been thinking to make some #custom #NFT to wear/sell there, but unsure how and if I really could... Also, lands are veeeeery #expensive! But can be loaned for "cheap" :3

Designing a Holder for the Solar Powered #Fountain

The challenge at hand is to create a holder for our solar-powered fountain. Currently, we are facing an issue where the fountain tends to move to the side, causing #water to spill outside the container. Our goal is to ensure that the fountain remains fixed at the center.
The base will act as a sort of anchor to prevent the container from drifting away, which will basically be some stone or bricks.

added a simple #bash #script to my furautils repo to create a #v4l2 #loopback which can be used to feed the same video stream from a webcam/camera (#uvcvideo) to multiple applications instead of just one.

It works for me and has simplified my life a lot, hope it will turn out to be helpful also for you ^^
