Since I was constantly downloading the latest #Blender #Beta by hand, have written a #Linux #Bash script (with the help of AI, I will admit it, but have checked and modified it many times) to automate the download and installation of the latest binary :)

I was saving to buy a perpetual license of #Nuke by #TheFoundry, when I discovered that they decided to stop selling "perpetual" #licenses this year... Now 1yr of #license costs twice the annual cost of the #maintenance. I guess I will say #goodbye to #freelancing as #VFX artist unless I get a very highly paid job..

Designing a Holder for the Solar Powered #Fountain

The challenge at hand is to create a holder for our solar-powered fountain. Currently, we are facing an issue where the fountain tends to move to the side, causing #water to spill outside the container. Our goal is to ensure that the fountain remains fixed at the center.
The base will act as a sort of anchor to prevent the container from drifting away, which will basically be some stone or bricks.

Today, studying with Helge (#pixeltrain) on his course, I noticed that on #Blender 3.6, the #sidebar was different, and precisely, it was like I [suggested 7 months ago](https://blender.community/c/rightclickselect/PQNy/) on the Right Click Select community!

I am super #happy about it, not just because of my #suggestion being integrated, but because I was actually hoping such #feature would be integrated, and it did!
