@freemo Animated on mouse-over for me on the web interface. Animated without tap on subway tooter. Animated without tap on Fedilab, but the "gif" label is overlaid on it until I tap for full screen.

Running vanilla Mastodon v3.1.2 (in firefox) and its animated for me.

Displays animated in Pinafore even if I have the Gif animation turned off by default. Disturbing.
