Man I wish the American economy still had small stores like this... Radioshack put them all out of business then stopped selling it when places like digikey put THEM out of business.. now you can only order from a catalog and its just not as satisfying.

@freemo @Science idk what this is but, that's REALLY aesthetic. despite being pretty sure I've never been in such a store, it feels kinda nostalgic.

@Zest

Electronics parts mostly, capacitors, transistors, inductors, all your main components.

@Science

@freemo this is so appealing to look at but it must be hell trying to buy anything specific that you’re after

@VD15 Depends on how specific. If you have a really specific part number, then yea, probably not going to find it. but if you have just a general specification (like you want a 10V+ electrolytic at 100uF) then it looks organized enough for that. I'd imagine you can always just give a list to the shop owner and they will pull all the parts for you if you prefer.

@freemo Nice. I have a store in my town that sells about everything electronic parts-based. And if they don't have it you can ask for it and they'll try to order it.

There is a market in Mumbai called Chor Bazaar (Thieves Market), a kinda flea market, where it is said that you can find any thing and everything if you are lucky enough to spot it in the junk, from vintage victorian era furniture pieces to old industrial machinery.

@mur2501 Sounds like our Beverwijk, only probably much much bigger.
@freemo

@freemo @Science doing inventory in there must've been a nightmare πŸ˜‚
