So apparently Joe has been president for a year now and surprise surprise, COVID levels are where they are at when things were at their worst under Trump.. Remind me again how Biden is so much better than Trump.

@TheCzar to be fair his mouth was getting quite annoying. It gets boring hearing people say the dumbest shit you heard day after day. That said Bidens Senile rants blaming everyone but himself and reiterating how he did a great job as he fails to do said job is not anymore more entertaining.

@js290 This wouldnt surprise me. He was a horrible president but he also had the deck stacked against him... Biden is a horrible president too, but he has the deck stacked for him.

@freemo him forcing people to get the vax bugs me. but he isn't my favorite i loved obama

@iceloops yea, though its a round about way he is forcing people which i guess is something. But yea, I dont like Biden, I dont like Trump.. Obama was much better than both but I dont even like him very much.

@freemo with trump i liked first few years of trump because he seemed to want to do things but his last few years i say no

@iceloops @freemo
...I liked how Trump was trying to make hospitals transparent about their costs... _shrug_

@lucifargundam

Trump, like all idiots, occasionally had a good idea or two. The problem is he was piss poor at executing on them. Partly his fault for acting like a moron, partly everyone elses fault for stacking the deck against him and exagerating all his failures.

@iceloops

@freemo @iceloops
Presidential accomplishments are like gold panning- salvage what you can and toss the rest. I can't give my hopes up on what's coming downstream when the terrain and everything else around me is changing. Tis always a lottery- the good fortune that lay ahead.

@freemo @lucifargundam it like closing the border makes him racist yet biden doing it makes him great.

@iceloops @freemo
Issues like the border- although sincerely concerning to many(not necessarily most, but possibly so still), are quite more often being used as an excuse for things rather than actually being directly addressed.

Either way, open or closed- issues leading up to the topic of the border are being circumvented moreso than the ending subject. That's because historically, certain politicians on either side of that line have neglected to take ownership for their own domestic garbage.

@iceloops @freemo
I don't love any presidents- but apparently Monica Lewdinsky did at one point.

@freemo @iceloops
Depends on your standards and how far you'll go to "show your love" for your president. Personally, I'm not into old men- regardless of any misguided sense of patriotic duty.

@freemo
To be fair, a lot of the rise in COVID cases is due to Texas and Florida being run by culture warrior lunatics...
Even so, Biden still could have done something earlier rather than remain hands off until his recent vaccine mandate orders, so he's not blame free here.
I'm more annoyed with Biden about the fact that the FCC head hasn't been appointed yet after 8 months.

@mathlover I agree, a lot of the rise in COVID cases are not Biden's fault, just as it wasnt Trump's fault for similar reasons. The issue I have is the hypocrisy of blaming one and not the other.

@mathlover @freemo oh yeah, what about that FCC head. now I'm annoyed too πŸ˜•

@freemo
Of course they're not falling faster - you have an entire party worth of voters refusing to mask or get the vaccine.

@hellomiakoda Also lets not forget those people not wearing masks were around when trump was around too... so despite that being nothing new Biden saw a larger increase in the prevalence of the virus than trump... its almost like its not about the masks but his ineptitude (not that trump was particularly competent or anything, he wasn't).

@hellomiakoda and as long as we are blaming parrty members for presidential failures lets not forget that democrats spent the whole time after the virus was released assembling in mass crowds to protest and burn shit down... You know whats worse for a pandemic than not wearing masks? Garthering in large crowds.

You wanna know what's even worse for a pandemic than not wearing masks? Turning it into a political problem.

@freemo Those were social distanced crowds, all masked. Trump crowds were packed close with no masks. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
Also should be noted they were protesting stuff that is SO bad, it was worth the risk - ya know, like cops murdering black ppl with immunity.
Also, not sure I'd count those people as Dems.

In 1992 and 1996 I supported the only mainstream candidate who spoke English and Economic common sense.

Ross H. Perot

I don't know what language the other candidates were speaking yet it did not sound like English to me. :D
