That sentence makes no sense. The statement "freedom to murder" means if i murder someone there is no system or government that would physically prevent me or cause me consequences.

By default (in the wild with no government or laws yet) we DO have the freedom to murder. The assertiont hat such an idea does even exist is non sensical. It is just that most humans agree that is a freedom that we should not permit, and thus the freedom is revoked.

Aside from rhetoric im not really sure what you're even saying.

No im not missing the point. You just proved mine. You decided which freedoms to support and which freedoms to deny based on non-agression. That is a fine line, I agree. Doesnt negate what I said however it agrees with it.

You have no choice but to remove freedoms. One person wants the freedom to live a life without being murdered, another wants the freedom to murder. You have to pick which freedom to grant.

ALL freedoms come at the expense of someone elses freedom. In the end we just need to decide which freedoms we care about more.

I've interacted with him before, not too much, but so far it has been entierly respectful. Far more than I've seen from you. But even you im willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you two had some past argument I didnt see that justifies your animosity.. who knows. But alli can do is judge both of you by how you act here and now. Regardless even if he did change his stance, so what? I completely respect anyone who can change their stance in the face of a counter argument. Probably the most respectful thing a person can do.

My apologies then.It sounded like you said the 2nd amendment was designed for malitias not individuals. Now you are saying that the 2nd amendment WAS intended for everyone not just militias?

Well ifyou want to talk accidents instead od suicides, sure. Again if someone buys a gun they know the risks. They are making that choice and have ever right to work with dangerous things that put their life at risk if they want. That is hardly an argument agains tit any more than its an argument against making scuba diving illegal (a dangerous sport).

Now i would agree there is a concern if someone has a gun and is irresponsible putting OTHER people at risk. But thats simple, make such behavior illegal (as it already is. If someone, for example, points a gun at someone in a joking way (prone to accident) this is illegal and would cause someone to go to jail most likely.

Point is NONE of this is a valid argument against guns or anything else that causes accidents often.

No thats patently false. We have coutnless examples that clearly demonstrate the point of the 2nd amendment was for ALL people to own guns not JUST the militia. The militia are just one reason to justify it, among many. That argument is one that history can trivially debunk.

We can see that because guns from day one were upheld as an individual right and even the forefathers have countless quotes where they make it clear guns are the right for the people not just militia.

You are correct, some dont. But no one in this conversation, other than you, fit that assertion. I may agree with your arguments but the way you speak and handle yourself are completely undeserving of respect. Everyone else however were completely respectful to you until you started being rude.
