@LWFlouisa English has always been gender neutral. The gender neutral pronoun to use is "he", which also can exist as a non-neutral pronoun.

@tcit@social.tcit.fr The existing git standard as it is.

@LWFlouisa Nothing listed there is a gender. Those are "sexual orientations".

@tcit@social.tcit.fr You got any diagrams or documentation on how this works and why it is better? I'm curious of the idea but based on the readme I can't yet see how this provides much of an advantage.

@lerk@comm.network I'm pretty sure I had a nightmare that was exactly that!

@dtluna @hector They should basically just call it what it is "Everything but straight people"

@OutOnTheMoors @bob This is the field I work in. I can tell you that facial recognition is far more along than the OP makes it sound. The software I've worked with has a less than 1% chance of misidentifying a person once they are in the system and under normal circumstances.

With that said using makeup wont help you much, it tracks by clothing and other features too and cares very little about tracking you for more than a day at a time.

I attended a talk at a nursing convention on how to make LGBT+ feel comfortable. This was on one of the pages and I started giggling. Enough with the letters, a + is more than OK.

@codesections If you have an input form on a static site generator's page then where is the form even going? You don't have a backend.

The reason it would probably be a default is because you can use a static site generator to build front ends to systems. I'd argue the checking should be on the backend though.

I should also point out i never noticed this behavior on any of the SSG I used.

@sampo It all started with underwear. Once we created underwear it was all downhill from there.

I'd have to agree, unless it is intended to mock a person for their race, which this is not, then it is perfectly acceptable.
