@bear@queer.party Its very immature to simply assume that because someone disagrees with you that they have no wish to better themselves. I understand you disagree, you don't appear to have learned anything either, though I wouldnt try to use that as an attack against you to suggest you are incapable.

@bear@queer.party If you want to make the argument that hate towards sexual orientation is not sexism because those are genders not sexes (mostly) be my guest.
That means if i say hateful things against gays in general then it isnt sexism either by tat interpretation.
Regardless of how you wish to define your words the fact is if you are being prejudice against entire groups based on qualities they are born with, then its wrong.

@bear@queer.party I shared the definition earlier. I have and continue to use the dictionary definition when I say Sexism. Which would imply BOTH sex and gender discrimination fall under sexism. I do find this inaccurate, I suppose they should come up with a different word to distinguish them. But for the moment thats how the word is used.
Personally I'm not even interested in the semantics though. If i see someone discriminate against a class of people because they were born a certain way, well I'm never going to not say something about that.
@bear@queer.party I never claimed trans people hold power over cis people. I never claimed you arent oppressed. In fact let me be clear in recognizing that you are oppressed, and horribly so from my expiernce of it.
I simply don't agree with your re-definition of the word sexism. If you hold prejudices against an entire group, based on their sexual orientation, that is wrong. You don't get a free pass if you happen to be in a group that is more oppressed. That is sad and all, and I think it is the bigger problem here than your expression of sexism. But again I dont think any of that changes the fact that its sexism and not something I would approve of.
@bear@queer.party I didnt use the term oppression at any time, intentionally so. I said sexism, which is defined as:
prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex.
@bear@queer.party The test I tend to use is take the statement im making and reverse the target to be whatever group im a part of. Then I ask myself if it sounds prejudice...
So for example I'm overweight. So if i hear the statement "Eww skinny people are ugly, I like people with curves".. I change it in my head to "ewww fat people are disgusting, I like skinny people". Well its obviously prejudice.
So for you I'd change it to "Gays [or whatever fits for you] are so annoying don't y'all get tired of being the bane of humanity". Obviously I think you could agree that would be a sexist statement, similar to how I perceived yours to be sexist.

@Blort I think its very hard for platonic human love to approah that of a dogs. You will never even question a dogs love because it is always so naively unconditional and pure. All we ever want to do is return that love but as humans we can never be as good as a dog at loving something. Best part is dogs dont care they love us no matter how much of it we can return/show.

@arteteco I'm grateful for your help. By the way to moderate you go into the configuration and go to the moderation section. Then click account, fine the account you wish to block or silence and click edit. Thats where you can do your moderating.
@kev Thats not what i mean. Its a measure to prevent bots or even humans trying to spam. You can only sign up once and bots almost always have nongmail emails because google and facebook are both fairly active at eliminating spam accounts and multiple accounts.
