@Wetrix Im not quite as harsh on 1-3 as you and many others. while i do agree they are well below the quality of 4 - 6, I still say they were decent and at the very least all superior to anything Disney has done.
Jarjar Binks I actually liked (I know everyone hated him). He had many good philosophical elelents:
* He showed rather well the prejudice of the jedi and how they look down on others .
* He showed how you dont need to be smart to be important
* He showed how the more enlightened jedi didnt write off jarjar so quickly, they saw his value
* This all plays in to the story as to how and why the Jedi fell, to show their arrogance and how they even began to be corrupted by the darkside in showing such behaviors. This is exemplified by Annies reaction.
@Rovine Let me know if you find it.
@Wetrix 1 2 and 3 were bad i agree but i think they were miles above anything disney put out. At least it actually answered outstanding questions and exposed the moral and philosophical questions to some degree.
@Wetrix All I wanted was 1 - 3 sequels, then wait a decade and we can talk again. I dont mind continued content, just make it good! They had a legacy to live up to but they didn't care, it was just a cash cow.
@Rovine Wish I knew. A friend sent it to me
The ECG of the #card10 can also be attached to other body parts. E.g. you can detect eye movement when attached to the head: #cccamp2019
@Wetrix Yea I dunno. First few they released I liked. The first one felt way too rip-off of the originals. The others seemed to lack any real underlying philosophy or message like the others. They just come across lacking, just a cool universe with some space flights. I am a huge star wars fan and watched a lot of the stuff Disney did at first, but I'm over it now.
@Wetrix I saw it posted from the official Star Wars group on facebook. Quick search came up with some references though: https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/lucasfilm-developing-darth-maul-tv-series-disney/

Love the art, thanks for sharing.
Just to be clear the death of human and animal life is saddening, it deserves our morning. But lets remember from an eco-friendly standpoint the fires are in fact a good thing, as most forrest fires in high growth areas are. It causes new growth forests with higher density to produce O2 and necessary for the eco systems of forests to survive.
@Algot Nothing wrong in that behavior. I dont think you should feel any obligation to follow someone back. If i follow someone i base it on their content, not if they followed me. Nothing wrong with how you do it, just saying you arent obligated to it.
Just saying dont be too put off by the account. Even if it is just a follow bot to improve federation, no harm done.
@Gargron Ahh yea, I can understand that. Most of what I know of the culture is as a business man dealing with them from that perspective. One thing they have explained to me over the years (and my interactionw asnt that huge) is how their culture views respect. As I'm sure you know its a huge part of their culture and there are rules around it at every level.
It is very contrary to my own nature so I would never enjoy living in a place that was like that. But I have respect for it all the same and appreciate the care they go to in expressing that. I'm just more of it "lets not stand on ceremony" sort of person. Me and my best friends are brutal to each other and I'd have it no other way :)
@Gargron Is the respect due to any unique challenges they face as Japanese Admins (like circumventing their countries laws if that is the case, I dont know how they are with censorship there too much).. or is that respect mostly out of a love for the culture in general and not particularly specific to any challenges int he mastodon world?
Either way while I dont know their culture too well what I do know of it is quite beautiful.
Lol you got no chill, I like it.
I mean to be fair some people might just want to be silent observers. I have a few accounts where i read-only from.

@Gargron You into japanese culture in general? I think i remember seeing something from you to suggest that.
She is literally the only decent candidate on the left and cant even qualify for the debate... the democrats pension for self destructive behaviors never ceases to amaze me.
