We need to fix healthcare and socialized healthcare sadly is just as broken as the alternative. There are better solutions than either option that we have right now IMO.

Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University, University of Toronto, and UCL have developed a technique for imaging objects outside of a device’s line of sight.

The technique combines special sources of light, sensors, and computer vision processing to deduce or reconstruct highly detailed imagery, without having previously captured the image or “viewed” it directly. As noted in TechCrunch, the team is even able to reconstruct objects around corners with tremendous accuracy using multiple measurements and information about the target object’s geometry.

I always feel bad when i dont follow someone who follows me. Particularly when they seem like a nice person.

Truth is if anyone follows me I always take a minute to read through your feed. If its about stuff I'd find engaging and i think we would have a lot to talk about I follow. Otherwise dont. But If I dont and you interact with me a good deal i often will follow regardless.

Just dont feed a bit on the light side, nothing person, I will always try to respond in comment threads regardless and engage.

Ya know "treat people how you want to be treated" is a bitter sweet phrase for me.

I have always lived up to this, problem is people dont want to be treated the same way I like to be treated. Worse yet people treat me the way they want to be treated and it isnt at all how I want to be treated.

Damnit society!

If all goes according to plan in the next day or two I will officially become a legal resident of the Netherlands. The hard .part will be making sure I keep my residency.

I modified my twsbi Diamond fountain pen with a ultra flex steel nib from fountain pen revolution and a new ebonite feeder. She writes insanely well. Not as much line variation as my antique waterman's but with a fiber point it still does spencerian style way better. Plus it's a demonstrator so can't really go wrong.

I decided today to block everyone int he fediverse that isnt a dog, cat, or other non-primate animal. I will also make an exception for the occasional shrub or flower.

Trying out a new frankenpen I got. It wasn't working right u til I switched to this new ink and now it's sorta ok the ink flownisnt the greatest. Gets nice hairlines though.
