Another example on how my new frankenpen writes.

TWSBI Diamond with nib and feed replaced with a nib from a Waterman's 52, Extra fine, super flex.

So I decided to breathe some life I to my old TWSBI Diamond fountain pen by replacing the stock nib and feed with a 115 year old extra fine flex nib from a Waterman's 52 and an ebonite feed. It is quite glorious.

The t won't beat my new spencerian custom pilot 912, but at least now I have a reason to ink up this pen and play. The old nib was fine for a stiff extra fine nib it's just I have little use for such nibs. Plus I have a weakness for these clear demonstrators

Great debate and both sides were completely on point here re: pronouns.

GPL is a hostage negotiation, or at best barter. I'll give you my code if you give me yours. There is nothing "free" about it in my mind.

MIT/BSD/Apache is true freedom "You can have my code, no strings attached, do what you want with it, just promise you will tell people it is open-source and who wrote it!"

Why do you feel that represents a difference of opinion. I agree with you entirely. I'm just not sure why you feel that applies to the GPL.

The GPL does not allow its code to be used in **any** non gpl project. Which is why I say it doesnt fit what your saying, you seem to be describint MIT/Apache license not GPL.

Is it possible you mixed the two up?
