I think this message relay could have added to description and improved text about what it is and does / doesn't. Mainly to to allow people less chance to scare themselves... and understand, and say more clearly what it is not.
I had to work out what it meant originally so while it's natural or new, and not a bad start but more would be good so here's my suggestions and reasoning below. (let me know and I'll have another look after you edit)

This bot account is within The Fediverse / ActivityPub protocol and not outside of it.
[Some is similar to what you wrote so not a complete re-write but this helps people understand it's not a Meta / Bluesky kind of bridge 🌉 - It's not an attempt to copy posts elsewhere as a 'relay' but forward them to those interested) <=== lol could put that in there instead of some of the other text...

It's amazingly not yet possible officially to import/move a whole account of posts BUT you can copy to a solo instance or manually replace OUTBOX.JSON into a new account (I think with some fiddling) or export somewhere?... so before I say more do you follow me so far on general notion of keeping my posts somehow and general topic in question? Thanks!

An Incredible Day In Internet History
It started with the Twitter lockout. 10,000 new users per hour. A QUARTER MILLION people migrated to Mastodon in one day. The servers struggled. Remarkably, admins all over the world built up capacity in real time. New users were patient. The system held.
It's running better now. There will be more hard days ahead, but people powered social media has arrived.

@mastodonmigration My post stands as I did not claim stux signed an NDA or met with Meta.
stux did basically state the general concept is fine (fair enough) and he's not concerned they have ill intent (wtf?), which is what most concerns me given the long, terrible record Meta/Facebook/Zuckerberg have regarding respecting people and basic human decency.
