Yes what you said makes sense in that area.

Perhaps an interesting area of thought connected to gender and role strongly (not totally perhaps) is by each one's physical ability.

The ability of females being able to give birth physically as part of themselves, going through birth itself more personally as potential death for them, giving life more literally to a child, breasts for feeding milk (though man can do this but not in the same way) and a few things below that might be more strongly relate to a 'role' , without any doubt?

That's the TLDR, longer form below.

As the males don't have that ability or option, then they are less likely to have it as a direct role?

Not having child as directly as females, not having breasts that give milk etc... = less of ability to have that role as directly ?

That physicality seems to relate back full-circle to role to a high degree, and seemingly without any doubt (?) since males cannot give birth or give milk physically in the same way (or not even close).

So physically seems evident that gender and role are strongly connected, by design ?

And even if not all females need take it on fully to that extent or role, they have the physical ability where males don't come close.

This reminds me of who start *almost* by herself and then needs the help of others / need help from humanity to save itself, together.

So I would say Chris @nitecoder that 'only' in your reply is probably right or very close, but mainly or mostly is more true if cooperation is the heart of many things and unavoidable as a species. <shrug> but also it's the best part (once people can reply and start trust itself knowing we are all just 'randoms almost out genuinely all want or need same things, if we can give / receive it).

By yourself is good to start and continue - but we should (have to anyway) rely on others if we going to provide for each other (currently by anonymous mostly money making people) do any 'save' humanity (on any level) or learning together or completing life's puzzles with each other.

Seems a bit of a speech but what do you think Chris? Is it far wrong we need to work together?

(I'm privacy conscious, so this is most private I've found, but see the need for us also to find a decent easy way to record or listen to audio and trust a bit and do it all more personally (rather than not do things at all).

You don't have to reply by audio in same way either - I can just send an audio example to show you or even explain the website
(so I'm asking permission now to send you something) and you can test out this site which has almost 2 or 3 clicks for easy record and send the audio via a link the site gives after recording).

1 window with a simple start stop button and then save button.

It's also handy for older people with family instead of mobiles as it's big and colourful on screen and quite simple after first run

So that's my offer to show you site / send example perhaps for others in your life too.

It might not be a cure but a good non-commercial tool and example how we can be all together helpful an dsafer online - I think we can all help do whatever we want as we go through it *when* the humanness is there we can help replace the 'systems' which are basically not based on humanity... and can't expect them to improve it because of the finance involved..

So something more than text helps occasionally work our way / practice through things - musch like an audio postcard of sorts and describing our day I've found soothing...

#bluesky is not a decentralized network because without their main server yours is useless / disconnected... 

is *not* a network because without their main server yours is useless.

So while you can like Mastodon, they can actually disconnect you at any time or just selectively block your server's access to others whenever it's suit them.

That would be like needing 1 main Mastodon to exist for yours and other to exist, otherwise nothing. That is a BIG and very too being profit based and perhaps testing to see how far users will go to allowing profit making techniques on them.

Bluesky is therefore weak now and later, and also allows the classic technique when the main server starts getting more political or profit orientated and doesn't like or need you any more. Then you will reallyknow about it!

These other systems ends up with a and people saying:

"oh no Bluesky is so bad now, how could it get so bad? I'm leaving for the next thing (...that me again!)

Removing any server's access is too easy and allow them to make continual ultimatums for people to follow regardless of it's use, so their upgrades and 'features' might just but profit orientated (to snoop on you, exploit etc) just for your server to continue existing as usual.

Very and not like which doesn't have that disconnection or ultimatum looming over people's head... :mastodance:

#Money is one of the most expensive things (did you ever think of that?) 

Did you realise you are paying for money while using it? And that itself cheapens money each transaction making all money in the pool less than it says on the note?

Give that some thought.

You are 'giving' it to each other at cost and thinking 100 means giving 100 on the note (after transaction fees, paying for loans etc)...

for money is quite stupid as it's + %'s + fees + loans across and ALL banking devalues instantly the whole money supply AND spirals negatively so 🌀 like a vortex of value taken off money (not just your but whoever does whatever also effect your money, like diluting it when any loan is given by any bank). You're effective money is less each time the system gives out massive loans and more than the bank has!

Money therefore carries not just a bit of devaluing but across every moment it's in circulation (that's part of the they know and people don't).
People can't see it. Perfect.

Holding money is obviously little benefit for that exact reason of so people try to do "more" with it involving more and more of this list above AND banks it "LEGALLY" upto 10x more than they have is the THE injustice and power leveraged that people don't have (=inequality)

To 'make more money' is just making more debt first (for others and you, and then bank using your savings while you sleep).

Therefore the money supply too is always behind / trying to catch the interest / debt on loans. It's a mission impossible to create power over people.

Ever feel like there isn't enough money? Guess why - it's getting re-loaned by extra-ordinary fake ways and bubbles of loaning...

The clever maths and negative direction of numbers = negative humanity. We see it in all the who allow and install banks on high street to "sell us money" which as a sentence is crazy paying 10 for each 100... because a 100 note then because 90!

Underwritten by Banks there's just fake debt more than real value - while people have to try find money from somewhere, looking for work and getting a house + paying %'s + paying fees and basically work for free while paying for the world over and over again while it's all the houses etc have already been paid and only need maintenance which people pay for via and pots that go for .

@thibaultamartin I think people understanding more and more, money is the most expensive thing long term and the longer you leave it (or any money in the hands of banks) the overall debt to society multiplies like giving a cancer (represented as loans reloans on loans as savings, debt and all money). That's why people don't take out debt AT ALL sometimes.

The first step to taking debt IS the TRAP and the spawning of more debt from your money, their money, ALL money which has lost reality and now just sucking in people's work and nature itself from people needing to pay it ALL back with even more % spun in every direction and catching as many people into the game it can.

No new 'features' etc are going to save us from that and arguably "we have enough tech" unless that's another forever game and we're not going to work actually on / with humans and their improvement in logic (which includes understanding money in the first place because many don't even if wary of it).

Another aspect of debt,
considered as an information technology,
is that if affects the information environment of the borrower.

If you are managing a company which has borrowed money,
making your payments becomes one of the survival conditions for that company.

At low levels of debt, generating short term cash flow is one priority among others,
but for a highly indebted company it becomes a signal which swamps all others.

You might want to change the world, but if you don’t meet the coupon payments, you’ll never get the chance to see if your other strategic priorities would have worked.

Consequently, a company with lots of debt cannot help but have a bias toward the short term.

Which might be considered problematic,
as the last few decades in the Western capitalist world have seen the rise of an industry
(leveraged buyouts, or “private equity”)

which has made it part of its fundamental operating strategy to load companies up with debt.

Considered in this light, debt is a technology of control as well as of information
– it’s a means of exerting discipline on management teams who might otherwise be tempted to follow priorities other than short-term financial returns.

This is, as far as I can tell, the real meaning behind the populist critiques of “#financialisation” in the economy.

There’s really nothing particularly bad about the growth of the financial sector,
even to the extent that it’s outstripped the growth of the “real” economy.

Quite simple mathematics ought to be enough to convince us that as the economy grows,
the number of links and relationships between producers, consumers and investors will grow at a faster rate,
and so you’d expect the parts of the economy in which decision making and information processing take place to grow faster than the “real” economy.

It’s the same logic by which the brains of primates take up proportionally more energy than those of rodents;

finance is part of the real economy, just like the cerebellum is a real organ.

What’s bad about “financialisation” is neither more nor less than the over-use of debt.

Modern corporations do often behave badly,
and they make systematically worse decisions than they used to,
this isn’t a delusion of age.

They do this partly because they have outsourced key functions
(cutting themselves off from important sources of information),

and partly because their priorities are warped by the need to generate short term cash flow.

Both of these problems can in large part be traced back to the private equity industry,
working either as a direct driver of excess leverage,
or as a constant threat which makes managers behave as if they were already subject to its discipline.

#Management #science and #cybernetic #history is all about things which began as solutions,
💥then turned into problems because the world changed.

Once upon a time, back in the 1970s,
private equity and LBOs were the solution to a problem of lazy, sclerotic incumbent management teams,
self-dealing and failing to make tough decisions.

But it’s now the 2020s, and private equity may itself be the biggest problem in our global information processing system.

The way that corporate history progresses is that we try to keep up with the ever-increasing complexity of the world,
♦️and then when this is no longer possible, we have a crisis and reorganise.

We’ve had the crisis
– or perhaps we are still going through it
– and now it’s time to think about how to reorganise.
