Humans adopt #technologies that fit with their nature and beliefs. Economic or other advantages are secondary.
When a technology “fails” (you may define failure any way you wish, and your definition may change depending on the situation) answer these questions:
“What would have made the technology easier to use?”
“What would have made the technology more useful?”
Metacognition requires awareness of one’s processes and control of those to be applied and regulated to improve thinking in other settings or for other problems. This is a far more rich construct than is used by many teachers. #education #teaching #highered #highschool
