#physics Physics of air quality I don’t have much to say, but I’m thinking that the physics here is as bad as anything else. The story is all controlled by those who have skin in the game. They have ‘qualifications’ and the influencers parrot them. I’m thinking of uvc on titanium oxide. I’ve rigged this up a few times, and it gives a nice fresh scent like the outdoors. This gives out hydroxyl ions, and I’m thinking that someone should be bold enough to have a hypothesis that a heavy saturation of this in the air is harmless and stops covid from getting in the eyes. However, anything new is instantly sued in the US. Too bad. We’ll just have to go with things that don’t work.
Social media landmines Bunch of wimps.

#gardening New Seeds We just discovered a great hack. Nobody gets photo prints any more, and we have these albums hanging around. We just got in our seeds for the season. I start the tomatoes in March under the lights. I may start the onions earlier, but extreme cold makes things difficult in the garage.
US lawsuits Just reading on Teflon found in underwear. This is a universal contaminant because it doesn’t react to anything, like a water molecule. It passes right through you. However, the trial lawyers saw easy prey and had a lab test it. They found teflon at an unstated concentration, could be one in a billion. The company immediately threw $5 mil at the them to go away.
Now, it’s trans fats that I have been eating since I was born. All US companies will fall to this. In Canada, drugs are perhaps 10 times cheaper than in the US. That’s because the liability risk there is 10 times more. The covid vaccines were sheltered from these lawsuits, and I expect more shelters or everything will go under.
Descended from Unix freaks, I evolved to Linux. Some people might consider me old at 60+, but I'm suing the world to get my age down to 30.
I have a blog https://ontario-geofish.blogspot.com/
and it is read by 8 people. My formal education is in an extinct branch of science called geophysics. Since there was no money in it, I went to engineering. I've done tunnels, radwaste thingies, etc.
