Tldr; good in thought/intent, but inefficient in practice.

Someone else was protesting gasoline cars in SF by putting lintel beans into the tire stems... But by doing so, they are actually harming the environment by reducing the fuel efficiency of those cars by having them drive with deflated tires.

They're also putting themselves in danger by sabotaging people's property- people that might violently retaliate.
