Checking for primality is not that hard either, the factorization is hard and is the reason cryptography works (certain schemes).
That said, even if it's an easier task computationally, it's not necessarily easier to implement, especially efficiently, especially for large numbers.
Sure, skip the primality test, if your genrerator does not rely on it, but who's going to test the generator?
Maybe a trivial primality test that does not need a test itself? (oh no already violating TDD) Use it to test the generator, which you can then use to test a more sophisticated primality test that you can then use to test the generator for even bigger numbers? This is a very trollish kata for TDD, and an example of a problem where you're better off relying on theory to prove correctness, an maybe only testing some components not the problem/solution as a whole.
You should be able to browse their local timeline (from the point of view of qoto) like this:
https://qoto.org/web/timelines/public/remote/gab.com
This is probably not everything however, due to the way activity pub works. Some clients let you request the timeline straight from the instance itself, if you really don't want to miss anything. So far I only know of Subway Tooter and Fedilab that have that feature, both Android clients.
@davidpgil@floss.social qoto only silences instances for active unmitigated harassment, and blocks for technical reason like denial of service attacks, but that in itself becomes a reason for some other instances to block qoto, so there is no way to guarantee that everything would be visible from a single instance.
Totally political incorrect on Mastodon
@snow I don't have an opinion on this subject specifically, but as I noticed a lot of pessimism in your toots, allow me to offer you a change of mindset in general, into something maybe more hopeful. Substitute "you are a terrible person if" with "You are probably an all in all amazing and beautiful thing that is a person, but you might be misguided in this one admittedly overall insignificant thing if".
as promised - theora color conversion spec codified

but why are those gliders leaving trails? no those are not video artifacts(the discoloration and random red patches are), those are the ancestors!
alright, might have been a compiler quirk, the newer version doesn't seem to do it... but now I'm paranoid.
@freemo so, it's basically monkey bread...

Most people don't know how to enjoy alcoholic drinks. I disliked them too, until I discovered this guy http://www.ralfy.com/
who finally clearly explained and illustrated what its all about:
You should smell and sip, any swallowed amount is wasted amount, a bottle should last for months. Most alcohol in shops is poor quality, because it's aimed at people who would waste it anyway (take shots or mix it with random stuff).
