@admitsWrongIfProven It’s a mere accident of birth that he’s not a German politician (although more likely a German quack horticulturist, which is far, far closer to reality).
~ Fun fact ~
There's a contest for all five of the Eurosenses!
* Eurovision is for original songs, of course
* Eurolfactory is for industrial design history trivia
* Europroprioception is for gymnastics
* Europrecognition is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC WHO TOLD YOU WE EXIST, and
* Euroecholocation is for masked crime-fighting
@neonbubble I have bat envy. We don’t have enough trees around our garden to encourage them, and end up having to pop to a local lake or country park to make breaking out the bat detector worthwhile (it totally is though).

The #Republic arrests, next stage:
Monday (last) night a Chief Inspector from the Met & 2 other officers visited Graham Smith, who was arrested but not charged during the #Coronation, to 'apologise' for the six arrests of Republic/Anti-monarchy demonstrators.
Smith: 'I said, for the record, I won’t accept the apology. We have a lot of questions to answer & we will be taking action'!
The Met have also now acknowledged Republic had been working with them so the protests could go ahead.
@rjblaskiewicz Glad to hear it! I have a vague inkling about something from back in the $8chan days…
