One concern I have with them is Embrace Extend Extinguish. Microsoft's old tactic (and perhaps, the privacy angle).

Also, I'm not fond of giving *yet another one of these companies* more power.

These posts are edited and edited posts don't federate properly, either from that server, or other ones.

@freemo I noticed that this instance behaves strangely with edited posts (it doesn't seem to federate them properly).

@naught101 I think a better approach for this particular problem might be better threading.

Think if the replies to one particular post could be collapsed at the press of a button.
