@AnnaAnthro Palmer's website "contains an artificial intelligence avatar of the candidate that will answer questions typed into a query bar."
That seems like a recipe for political disaster.

@freemo I'm afraid you're already well beyond my vague knowledge of physics.
@freemo I once wrote a space combat game where the weapons included electrino beams and poton torpedoes.

This dance routine by the CDK Company in the Netherlands to Gotye's "Somebody that I used to know" is absolutely fantastic.

Sent to my representative:
Representative Chavez-Deremer:
The Supreme Court has ruled that only Congress has the authority to remove Donald Trump from the ballot for President. Can I count on you to become a co-sponsor of the bill that Rep. Jamie Raskin is working on to keep this dangerous man out of office?
This is not a partisan issue. Trump illegally attempted to undo the results of the 2020 election, which he was well aware that he lost. To this day, he continues to praise as heroes the domestic terrorists who stormed the Capitol and attempted to murder your colleagues.
The greatest strength of our nation is its democracy. When the people spoke in 2020, Trump would have none of it -- he tried to cling to power through fraud and violence. We cannot allow him anywhere near the levers of power again.
Will you stand with the American people, or will you throw your hat in with the insurrectionists?
Inspiring podcast episode about developing blind-accessible video games:
@sos It amazes me that AAA titles are built with this fragile, poorly-documented engine.
@freemo People ask daily what kind of dog Violet is. I'm tempted to tell them she's an Esperanto Eelhound.
My co-protagonist has made the website we wish Portland General Electric had had during the January power outages, when our entire neighborhood was trying to cram data through one cellular tower!
I hope you do not currently need this website, fellow Portlanders, but maybe bookmark it for when you do?
I'm by no means an expert on running a congressional campaign, but I wonder if asking your supporters for donations multiple times per day might be ... counterproductive. #uspol
@adhdeanasl Even more bizarre is the origin of this disclaimer, which involves Rasputin! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_persons_fictitious_disclaimer#Origins
Imagine if all the collective money spent of “self driving cars” had been spent on public transport.
As in, not cars - which are ultimately bad solutions for most of the world - but punctual and pervasive clean-energy public trams, trains, and buses.
It’d have cost less and been far more useful for far more people. Including non-drivers. And actually be here. Today. Working.
