Hello again! I am a not-so-tech-savy almost retired counsellor who has been on another server since December after leaving wacky twitter-land.
Looking to connect with Canadians, prairie folk (Saskatchewan settler) and Saskatoon people. I love nature, photography, gardening, music, traveling, grandchildren and justice oriented politics. Grateful to be an ally living on Treaty 6 and homeland of the Metis.
Appreciate any boosts as I restart!
@merrysask it always amazed me that when they got bored of whatever game was playing in Saskatoon the locals would go to Regina. Just down the road! (a mere 260km that is)
@merrysask I'm originally from there but been in England since getting my Engineering degree at TCD in 1979. 😕 My mum was born in Victoria BC
@merrysask I visited Saskatoon to do a software acceptance a few years back (Nov '16 IIRC). A tidy little city and some good 16oz steaks:-) We visited Dún Laoghaire (Ireland) for a similar reason a week later and had to order 16oz steaks there to compare. Both were excellent! 🙂

@Alastair well.... I now have a couple of (simh) PDP-11s running on DECnet (HECnet the worldwide hobbyist network). So, MASTODECnet becomes a possibility 😂
