@design_RG Yeah just saw when searching that a Switter prostitute was using the tag...perhaps that would * not * be a wise choice! 😂

@stux I believe so, he got the download from the Microsoft website back when it was free (can't remember if it is or not anymore)

@design_RG 😄 To be fair, I am still on break. I probably won't be able to chat here as much when school's back in session lol

@stux Yep! 😎 I've got a super busy day today, getting haircuts now, going to Red Lobster later, and helping somebody update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 after that.

@proxeus You would have better luck trying to convince somebody else letting Americans die. That's not something I'm down with as foreign policy and you're not convincing me.

@proxeus Probably. Iran has been killing Americans because there haven't been any ramifications. Now we all know that is more powerful than . Now that they know we are willing to fight them, do they want to instigate us? It seems as wise as a gang going up against the national guard, unless of course Iran decides to further escalate and bring in an ally (and even in that case they would lose lol)

@stolas@elekk.xyz Yeah, I found it and made a couple bots with it last night:

@notcaseyrollins & @notcaseyrollins@high.cat

@catpostingbot why is this in the Cat Posting bot? Great meme 👌🏾 but this has nothing to do with cats.

@design_RG @angedestenebres

I love Halcyon! It isn't as good as the software but it's more than adequate and better than 's imho because it has live timelines and * proper * notis

Some instances block @gab but twitter.rixx.de doesn't m

@realcaseyrollins @angedestenebres Awesome -- glad to hear from a first hand experience like that, thanks Casey.

I would suggest Pinafore for anyone, it works in any op system, but the original request from someone here (which Ange responded to, linking to her guide) was for a Stand alone client; running without a browser.

I tried one that is listed as Desktop, standalone, seemed interesting but never got running for me in Windows.

Besides the awesome Pinafore ( pinafore.social or pina.todon.nl ), there's Halcyon (halcyon.social/ or halcy.todon.nl ).

@design_RG It might be better to build an aggregate that works more like how hashtag pages work.

Perhaps we could make the hashtag "serious", and also have the tab include all post over, say, 700 characters?

@proxeus Probably more violence.

Of course, there's an alternate solution to me hunting you down and killing you, I could call the cops.

If they kill you, is that murder too? Will your family and friends to hunt down the police in revenge?

@design_RG @angedestenebres

Interesting! Out of the three, I have used two. I strongly recommend Whalebird for Linux, it works quite well and also offers desktop notifications, IIRC.

Hyperspace is an interesting case. As an anti-censorship nerd and free speech advocate, I don't think I can recommend it, as it bans @gab. However, the user experience is good, if a little unpolished and buggy (if your instance doesn't support trends, for example, and you click "What's Happening", the whole window will go blank and you can't do anything. It should be fine for users who don't use or interact with people there though.

@ABQNewMexico Well...everyone get offended at one time or another. Question is, can you handle it, or will you wet your pants like a baby? 🙂

Ange posted a nice review of possible Mastodon Clients under Linux, as usual a well written and illustrated piece.

Merci, Ange! Le originel est ici : tugaleres.com/2019/03/23/clien

@angedestenebres, well done.
