My last bout with cable tv (in 2010) required me to drive from New Westminster into the Whalley district of Surrey to drop off the cable box. They wouldn't send me a shipping label. They wouldn't accept it as a shipment if I sent it by courier. I had to take 2 hours out of my Saturday to return it.
So, in addition to the content being crap and the service overpriced, I had to waste time driving to cancel my service. I will never order cable tv service again as a result.
Fortunately, they also never call me after I wasted an hour of a sales reps time explaining why they have nothing to sell me that I want to purchase. Now I just have to deal with my crappy cell phone service that gives me garbled calls at random.
