if you’re on mastodon, I can only assume you’re smart and pretty and funny and need a little nose boop

@MedicalDemocrat I prefer using it in the app. But not the official one through. You miss a lot of things if you use that app.

I use Tusky for Android. And for ios there is Metatext.

@PBruce Right. And the sense of fulfillment. Both of them are correlated, I guess.

Here is a blog post I wrote a few days ago on the last 20 years of open science. The main point being that we haven't really made use of the internet to change how we define and conduct research projects. Seems also timely given the potential demise of twitter and the growth of another related platform. #ScienceMastodon #openscience

I rambled about the 'LinkedIn influencers' and drew some parallels between them and Indian sitcoms in my latest blogpost

@freemo @alex

In many senses, I find sets high standards for communication in . You have enabled connected services, allowed 65K characters, you have robust policy, we can use markdown in posts, and you are also very welcoming, responsive, and open community!

Twitter became a place for people who want to promote, perform, and extract. Mastodon is a place for people who want to discuss, engage, and share.

Flowers

#phonephotography. Again no clue about the specifics of this beauty.

@nixxin @stux Don't think it will be centralised there. But expect mastodon.social to remain the biggest one.

The great thing is the federated timeline IMO. How you can interact with anyone there. Just like I am doing rn.

@MtnWaver @trinsec Yeah! The Web Versions are pretty smooth. Both on Mobile and PC.

@MtnWaver @trinsec might be the right person to guide you on this. I generally use it from the Web Browser (Firefox). Works quite well.

@jonbeckett Mostly Microsoft Todo for tracking tasks, and Notion to take notes.

@karthikakamath If I would take it or not? It would depend on the target audience of the course. Is that course targeted for someone who knows some applications of AI and wants to learn how it is applied in Neuroscience? Or it is an advanced course for people already having that knowledge?

@rachelkratofil When you mentioned new field, did you imply the research area being vastly different than your previous one? or the difference in your experience is there mainly because of the new lab?
