For audio centric posts (podcasts) there's also the federated https://funkwhale.audio , although I think he's probably just gonna keep using RSS for https://notrelated.xyz .

@design_RG I do think the Wikipedia:Fediverse page needs much improving. But at least now the definition exists.

I read from Pleroma that it implements ActivityPub more faithfully and therefore allows for extensibility.
