@portpupper @lain Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. So far the references are to blog posts by lain and official website content. We need external reviews and "noteworthy" commentary to put the Pleroma draft on the same level as the Mastodon wiki page.

@luke Relevant throwback to a talk about the Fediverse (albeit referenced indirectly). Nice to finally see on PeerTube.

@lain
Do you know of this?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Pl

Also, anyone wanna help with collecting sources for the Pleroma Wikipedia draft page before it's reviewed?

Sources are the most important to avoid it being deemed not "note worthy" and discarded. Grab all you can.

Hi

@Toni lol you did it. Now enjoy your new freedom on the Fediverse.

@Zambyte @luke True. Its up to him. I think he's only recently understanding how the Fediverse works.

For audio centric posts (podcasts) there's also the federated funkwhale.audio , although I think he's probably just gonna keep using RSS for notrelated.xyz .

Also, knowing Luke, he's gonna curse you for calling his videos "tech rants" lol.

@design_RG I do think the Wikipedia:Fediverse page needs much improving. But at least now the definition exists.

@en
Stumbled across this: alda.io/
> Alda is a text-based programming language for music composition.

The creator Dave Yarwood also blogs about it: blog.djy.io/

And there's also this: lilypond.org/
> LilyPond is a music engraving program

@luke Great. Welcome to the fediverse! How many hours are you thinking of syncing over?

@freemo OK, cool. Sounds good. What's your motivation for the potential migration? Easier and lighter to maintain? Or as you said, more feature rich?

I read from Pleroma that it implements ActivityPub more faithfully and therefore allows for extensibility.

@freemo I'm interested. Is there a post or discussion about this potential migration I can read? I'm still learning about the current state of the fediverse.

@Sphinx
Thank you. It seems I got in before they closed the gates too.
